Thanks for visiting Katie Becker Photography! I started Katie Becker Photography in 2012. Truthfully, it all started when I bought a “good camera” to take better photos of my babies! Just as they have grown – so have my skills and business. I specialize in Family & Lifestyle Photography, Corporate Photography (Branding), Farm & Ranch Photography, and Event Photography.

I thrive on capturing my clients at their best and “in their element”. To make that happen, my clients need to feel comfortable with me. And I strive on being fun to work with, using a non-invasive approach that brings out the best in my subjects. As a third-born child myself, I have often had to rely on my sense of humor to mediate many altercations…! And years of photography experience have taught me how to capture people at their best. My favorite subjects are honestly “camera shy” people! I am able to sense quickly, and know how to work around that. And if you have children, you know that photographing children is like photographing a gnat. It’s a skill that gets perfected with practice, practice, practice!!! Although I shoot with top-of-the-line Canon DSLR cameras and lenses, the reality is that “fancy equipment” doesn’t make the photographer – experience and practice does!
